Women Make Movies too! We support the upcoming 2nd Annual Women's Media Summit. Bee a Part.
The original Lovehoney, first formulated in the nineties for a Hollywood star that quickly became a sought after conversation piece in LA writers’ rooms, meetings and parties.
Officially trademarked and packaged in 2000, Lovehoney was sold throughout Southern California in places such as the San Diego Zoo, Mammoth Mountain, Fred Segal’s and the Hustler Store (checks signed by Theresa Flynt herself). In 2001, Lovehoney notoriously was on MTV and featured in the Valentine’s Day issue of Playboy magazine; Anna Nicole Smith graced the cover. Worldwide sales skyrocketed. The same year, supplies of honey were threatened for several reasons including environmental factors affecting the health of hives. Garden of Edendale remains committed to promoting the welfare of bee friendly organizations and education. For a brief time, operations were suspended, the dot com site was sold to a British conglomerate, we used the funds to make a feature film.
Reformed as Garden of Edendale, in the heart of Hollywood, we are a proud female founded, owned and operated community driven enterprise.
Not only are we filmmakers ourselves, we use 10% of every online sale to fund a female driven independent film/TV/new media production entity.
We humbly bumble forward.
